Pinhead
I got a lifesize male head from a mannequin that would be fitted with nails and blood. The idea was to put it in the middle of the case so that when the lights come on you can see Pinhead himself staring back at you!
Here's a picture of the victim and some of my instruments of torture! I added a little bit of colour first.
I then added the trademark lines and the things that make Pinhead a Pinhead!
I test-fitted Pinhead inside the case. In normal operation the case is completely black, but with a little red light he becomes visible. The effect when the room is totally dark is amazing - he is one evil-looking dude!
I decided to hold the plexi sides together with a chemical glue. It was easy to apply and kept the cube solid as a rock and easily able to carry the weight of the figure inside.
